Udany pobyt, świetna lokalizacja, jedyny problem to karaluchy.

Positive: The only good thing was the location Negative: The apartment was not as clean as it should be and we had a huge problem with cockroaches. The door had a gap on the bottom that was big enough for cockraches -and other insects- to come inside. We came across two huge cockroaches within a few hours of being in the house. We contacted with the numbers they gave us and they were not helpful at all. They basically told us it was normal and that we should just kill them. We know Valetta is full of cockroaches but that doesn't mean we have to tolerate them in our apartment. We didn't occasionally find one and that's it. We found a roach almost every single day. We spoke with many random Maltese people during our stay in Malta and everyone stated that even though valetta has a problem with cockroaches, it is not normal to find so many inside a house and that it is a matter of poor hygiene and lack of pest controls. We had to spray every day and we felt very dirty inside this place nonetheless. When we contacted with them again after many unread messages they sent us a very helpful girl in the house but there wasn't anything she could do so she brought us one spray that we have already bought from the supermarket and something to fill the gap of the door (even though it did nothing because we still found cockroaches inside). Normal or not, it is not very pleasant to spend your holidays like that, especially when you pay a good amount of money. They should definitely do something with the door and clean better in general because it was very unpleasant, it smelled weird, there was no fresh air and it was uncomfortable. For anyone thinking about booking it, don't.
