St Julians - Spinola Bayview Apartment

Negative: Unfortunately, our stay was not as expected. When we arrived at the apartment, there was no electricity at all. Since it was a self check-in, we contacted the host immediately through Booking. Instead of coming to check the issue, we were first given instructions to check the switches ourselves and, if needed, go down to the ground floor to check the main switches. We were staying on the 3rd/4th floor, it was very hot, we needed electricity for the air conditioning and to charge our phones, so we expected a quicker and more direct solution. After trying everything we were instructed to do and confirming that the problem was not solved, the host informed us that he was on the other side of the island and would need around 25–55 minutes to arrive. Eventually the issue was addressed, but the communication and the initial response were disappointing, especially considering the circumstances upon arrival. Additionally, the apartment itself needs more maintenance. The balcony was not really usable because water from the air conditioning unit from the apartment above was constantly dripping down. The balcony cushions were torn, and the sofa bed was in very poor condition and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, mainly because of the lack of immediate support when we arrived and the condition of some parts of the apartment.

Rustig plekje tussen de drukke straatjes Positive: De locatie is geweldig! Mooi uitzicht, dichtbij bars en restaurants. Negative: De airco in de woonkamer is niet voldoende om ook de slaapkamer te koelen, daar staat wel een ventilator maar evengoed was het er warm. De slaapbank waar onze 19 jarige zoon op sliep is misschien wel aan vervanging toe, als je er schuin in gaat liggen gaat het wel (aldus puber).

tolle Lage, schöne Wohnung, aber bitte mal neue Sitzmöbel Positive: Die Lage ist hervorragend - nicht direkt in der Partyzone und somit halbwegs ruhig, sehr zentral gelegen. der Blick auf die Bucht ist wunderbar Negative: leider waren die Möbel, speziell die Sitzmöbel sehr fleckig - sowohl das Sofa als auch der Sessel. habe Handtücher drüber gelegt. Matratze war okay. Waschmaschine war eklig, es standen noch schlecht riechende Wasserreste vom letzten Waschen drin. habe die Waschmaschine dann erstmal ausgewischt und einmal komplett leer gewaschen.

Great stay in a wonderful location Positive: The location overlooking St Julian's bay was spectacular. The apartment was roomy with good facilities. There was a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Very close to town and walking distance to all amenities, restaurants and shops. Negative: Nothing, everything met our expectations.

Positive: Great location to visit Malta, beautiful view, apartment has everything you need, clear comunication end easy acess, we will come again and highly recommend!
