The Valletta G-House

Nel complesso ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene ..ci tornerei senza problemi Positive: La posizione molto centrale ..a due passi dal centro di valletta …l’architettura l’arredamento della casa mi ha affascinato molto .. Negative: Purtroppo devo dire che in alcuni punti della casa la pulizia non era il massimo e abbiamo trovato un po di umidità ..

Csótányos! Negative: Csótány invázió volt a lakásban. Elfogadhatatlan. A lakásban hagyott csótányírtó nem megoldás, ami el is fogyott, újat nem kaptunk, pedig kértünk, fotókat is küldtünk az irodának. Szakszerű rovarírtás lenne a megoldás. Ezt semmilyen indokkal nem lehet megmagyarázni. Nyugodt pihenés kizárt. Nem ajánlom!

Apartment was unclean and affected by a moisture problem. I cannot recommend staying here. Positive: The location is very good and is definitely one (or only?) of the property's biggest strengths. We also appreciated that we were allowed to check in before the official check-in time. In addition, when we decided not to stay, the company agreed to cancel our booking free of charge due to the poor condition of the apartment, which we appreciated. Negative: Unfortunately, the apartment itself was a major disappointment. As soon as we opened the door, we noticed a strong musty smell, suggesting there may be a dampness or mold problem. The apartment did not feel clean at all. The floors were dirty, the polyester bed linen was uncomfortable, the kitchen felt unhygienic, and the bathroom was in very poor condition. To make matters worse, we found two dead cockroaches on the floor. When we contacted the rental company, we were told, *"Maybe because you're from Sweden, you're not used to cockroaches."* We found this response unprofessional and dismissive of our concerns. The property also has unusually inconvenient check-in and check-out times: check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is already at 10:00 a.m., which significantly reduces the time you actually get to use the accommodation. We decided that we could not stay there. We initially waited to speak with the manager but ultimately chose to avoid a confrontation. The company agreed to cancel our booking free of charge, and the manager acknowledged that there was indeed a moisture problem in the apartment. Afterwards, I noticed that many previous guests had reported the same issues with dampness, cleanliness, and the overall condition of the apartment. It is disappointing that these recurring problems do not appear to have been addressed.

Exquisitely Charming & Near Perfect!! Positive: It is like a suite in a medieval castle on three floors carved out of stone. You enter into a TV/sitting room with curved stairways going up and down. Wonderfully lit they cast an enchanting glow. The top floor is a large bedroom/sitting room with a very comfortable king bed, elegant armoire and dresser, two beautiful cushioned chairs and a traditional Maltese balcony overlooking the street. Two floors Down is an inviting country kitchen with everything you need to entertain if so inclined. The art work throughout, lighting and furniture felt first rate like an expensive home. I spent four nights but would gladly have spent a week or more. Great neighborhood. Three minute walk to a late night grocery and at the edge of the Main Street through Valletta with tasty little restaurants and outdoor seating just around the corner. A must see tour is an 8 minute walk, Mysterium Fidel Monastery & Secret Garden in Valletta. Two blocks further is the Mediterranean. First rate experience! Negative: There are 26 stone steps from the top floor to the basement which could be a challenge for people with kids or walking difficulties. The bathroom is very small, shower is sunken and at 6 feet I could not stand up straight. A concrete pillar between the sink and toilet is easy to hit your head on. Lastly, the WiFi did not work except from the balcony. I called the emergency number, they were busy and said to reboot and call back if needed. I rebooted 3 times and it never worked however I was out most of the time so I did not call back
